Some of my Elapids Smile

Eastern green mamba, Dendroaspis angusticeps



Young Snouted Cobra, Naja annulifera



Cape Cobra, Brown colour phase



Cape Cobra, Naja nivea, Yellow colour phase



Forest cobra, Naja melanoleuca





Black Mamba, Dendroaspis polylepis





Chinese Cobra, Naja atra





Rinkhals adult female, Hemachatus haemachatus



Juvenile Rinkhals



Namib coral snake, Aspidelaps lubricus infuscatus



Cape coral snake, Aspidelaps lubricus lubricus



Angolan Coral snake, Aspidelaps lubricus cowlesi



Shield nose snake, adult female, Aspidelaps scutatus scutatus



Juvenile female



Black and white spitting cobra, Naja siamensis





Banded snouted cobra juveniles, Naja annulifera

Male





female



Banded Krait





And end it off with the King.

Chinese banded King cobra, ophiophagus hannah

Nice snakes. I used to keep dendroaspsis polyepis, had a cb baby for a while hat was a nutter. Sold them to concentrate on vipers though.

Not the best photo but heres swazi my cb baby

Nice pics Rowan, and beautiful snakes, I want to start working more with Elapids, so these pics make me very jeleous, I am also looking for Aspidelaps scutatus scutatus, so if you see any around just let me know.

Yea " Tis the season to be jolly " lots of animals available this time of year, just to prove were they are coming from is the problem.

How can you specialise in Sri Lankan snakes when you can't keep Exotics in Australia?


That must involve a LOT of traveling.

i frequently travel and have spend alot of time on sri lanka. you dont need to have a snake as a pet to specialise. we hire motor bikes in asia, they cost us $3 per day.

Nope unfortunately not, now belong to a reptile park in mpumalanga.

Focussing a bit on the motorsport and less on the herps for now
