| Have you tried live feeding or pre-kills yet?
If not, then I would.....I don't generally feel it is nesecary to force feed a snake if you can get ahold of live for the time being. (Just my thoughts)

| I onyl feed pre killed food, I basically assist with its feeding, as it will go for the pink, but never holds on, I have tried all the tricks in the book, I am sure when its older it will be able to feed on its own. | |

| Try live.
Force feeding is pretty over the top unless you are certain the animal will not take live, and how can you be certain when you've never seen the snake do it?

| I will try live pinks, but the problem still remains that it will take the pink, and inject its venom, and then just drop it, it never eats what I give it unlike my whitlips. | |

| Its a common problem with neonate crypteltyrops.
When we have babies I generally forcefeed until they take food on their own.
But it gets a bit tricky after a while so this is what I would do.
Take a small dark deli cup, put the snake in plus a live pink, close it up and leave it till the morning, usually they eat it if not try this.
Tease feeding works wonders, nice long forceps, f/t pink, rub it all over the snake, tap it on the snout, and a real sensitive spot is their tail, they generally bite when something touches its tail, it'll bite and let go plenty times, but 9 out of 10 times it gets tired and when it bites it doesn't let go, when it has the pink in its mouth, release it but stay very still, the moment you move its going to drop the pink.
Try the deli cup method first
